La Apple now is part of the Advisory Board of The Game Awards, joining a list of heavyweight companies in the gaming industry. The inclusion of Apple in this leadership board is a positive point that reinforces the visibility of the company in the global gaming scene.
Apple will be alongside other major publishers and studios such as: Activision, Epic Games, Electronic Arts, Kojima Productions, Nintendo, Microsoft, Rockstar, and Tencent.
According to the organization of The Game Awards, the purpose of this companies board is to assist the team responsible for the event in progressing in its mission. It is important to note, however, that these companies do not have a say in the selection of candidates or winners of the award.
The iPhone owner has been intensifying its movements in the gaming world. Apple has been working on strengthening its own computers with greater capabilities to run ambitious games. Similarly, its most powerful smartphones are currently capable of running multiple console games and the sturdiest mobile titles of the present time.
Additionally, Apple maintains its own gaming service for mobile, the Apple Arcade, which releases various exclusive mobile games throughout each year.
