If you saw the last Mundo Gamer review you certainly saw a simulator that was released recently (you can see at Ultimate Fishing Simulator 2 - a truly authentic fishing experience (Review) | Mundo Gamer Community), be surprised, it seems like the simulator era is here, haha!

This time, for electronics fans and the curious ones, the same company, Ultimate Games, released an electrician simulator, yes that’s right, you are going to do paid services to our clients in the most reliable way and a first-person game that the developers were able to release. Launched now in September 2022, the game has strong and good opinions on several game forums, with positive and negative points, that we will discuss more later.

That said, Ultimate Games, is a Polish developer funded in 2015 and the owner of many others, besides the one that we mentioned, such as Thief Simulator and Priest Simulator (they are really fans of a good simulator game, right?), it has released a game that maybe requires more of your machine, it’s worth to say that this game is only available for Windows, through steam (you can see it here: Economize 20% em Electrician Simulator no Steam (steampowered.com)) with an accessible prize, despite being a game of short duration, because the experiences, in a general way, are quite pleasant.

Anyway, Electrician Simulator doesn’t need a lot, but to play without any crashes and to be smooth, the recommendable configurations that are needed are 16GB of RAM and something at least similar to a GeForce GTX 1060 GB but don’t worry, in my PC, which has lower configurations, in ultra-mode I faced some problems, but, when I put them on “high” resolution, everything went smoothly.

Also, the publisher responsible for the game was Gaming Factory, which had also published some other simulators, for example, the Pizza Simulator, besides other games, such as Human Farm, the company was born in 2019, quite recently, but has been doing some works and supporting financially the development of selected projects in various platforms of the electronic world, especially for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox.

Easy to learn

Well, we know, or at least we suspect that being an electrician is no easy task, it requires studies and certainly a lot of experience to not be electrocuted, but the developers here made sure to make everything simpler. I’m talking about several tutorials that the game offers, we won’t start anything without an explanation, that is because to make some services we need certification (something that in my opinion is really professional) and, for each one, a total of 4, will have a tutorial!

Why did I put that exclamation? Because it was one of the news that, despise seemed simple, surprised me a lot and a point was really fun to evaluate since it is creative. First, we will receive an e-mail from a company, which we will create in the beginning, we choose a logo and a name for our little enterprise that will begin with a budget of only $200. Soon after this, we will use virtual reality glasses (that’s right!) to be able to go to a little room where they teach us how to perform some tasks, everything in a simple, clear, and in an explanatory way, for us to be able to get the certification and be able to perform this type of work.

The 4 certifications

Well, at first, this was something well-made, since during this progression we will start to do some actives not so simple and more complex, our first certification will come with the knowledge of fixing sockets, switches, and simple lamp changes, everything is easy, but will grant us reasonable money to buy our firsts equipment. How is that? In the beginning, we will have a few tools that we need several times in our mission, that is, at some point we need to buy these items, we do this in the store that we find on the laptop that we use for work.

The coolest certification is the second one, which has some practical tasks, this is because we don’t need to get out of our garage to make it, here it’s worth explaining that in the other activities we need to gather the material, interact with the truck and go to the client house, so let’s continue, this time we will receive a damage electronic device, we have to fix and send it back to receive the money, it can be one console control, headphone and others, in other words, we will learn how to fix many electronic devices. To this, we will totally dismantle the item, test piece by piece and change the ones that don’t work, and put it together again.

Maybe the third one is the most complicated, but when you pay attention to the tutorial texts and in a certain pattern, everything will fit in easily because here, we will have to distribute all the house wiring, from the fuse box to the switch, lamp, and socket. Still, we have to distribute this correctly, each place has its specific fit, and this activity will yield us some good money, but we consume more time on it.

Last but not the least, we will combine all the other activities that we learned and add one more, this one is really simple, we have to distribute sockets and switches where we want, besides placing lamp holders, lampstands and others. All of these tasks have in common one simple but important thing, don’t forget to turn off the fuse! This can seem silly, but I forgot it many times, it’s worth seeing the shock animation, but this, of course, will prevent you from making some tasks, “oh, but will I be in the dark?”  The answer to this question is no, several times your task will be in an environment clear by nature, but you also have to carry a flashlight.

Still, will be possible to know more about the game’s story that has a certain charm, I know that can be weird for a simulator to have something like a story, however, our clients will repeat themselves, so we will understand and associate their needs, for example, if one of them is a senior that needs several things, even the basics ones and other is the one who wants us to destroy the switches and take off the lamps of his houses because he wants to stay in the dark and, after some time, he asks for us to fix everything again. Here, you get the hang, everything will pass fast such as the game itself, the short duration of the gameplay maybe is a disheartening and less favorable point in the evaluation of this creation.

For the simulator genre in general, Electrician Simulator graphics surpass a lot of the expectations, that is because all the animations are well-made, the environment fits with the notion of the graphic required to the machine, that is, even in places that have a not- so-charming beauty, but that has their own beauty, this way the game can maintain the experience of a good simulator, but without extravagance.

Of course, because it is a simulator, we always expect something lighter that can be played on any PC, which is not the case, however when we see the minimum details of each piece of an electric device, this is for sure a motivator factor to continue to work. Besides this, the integration with the Virtual Reality glass brings a technological aspect, engaging us more with the electronic world.

Final Details

Well, I think no one starts to play a game or let an electrician simulator aside because of the soundtrack, which is not the problem here. As always, it’s good to pay attention to it at first, especially because the music is quiet and to be sincere won’t be missed, it’s there to fulfill its part. The animations are perfectly balanced and well-placed, I didn’t see any bug or delay in the audio, the sound of the screwdriver spinning will stay in your head for the 4 hours (around this) of this gameplay. Besides that, it’s really interesting to see how a really low budget can open a business and make us prosper, besides acquiring good clients, faithful, and with recurring problems to solve.
