The buzz is real, folks, and it all started when eagle-eyed fans noticed a slew of new job postings on FromSoftware’s career page. These aren’t just any openings — these listings are tailor-made for a project involving characters, creatures, and, yep, you guessed it, mechas.

One job listing in particular has set the internet ablaze. It explicitly calls for a Character Designer with expertise in "mecha design." That’s right, giant robots are back on the menu. With the massive success of Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, it’s not a stretch to think FromSoftware is already revving up the engines for the next installment or, at the very least, some beefy DLC.

The job description doesn’t leave much room for doubt, either. It flat-out says, “People with expertise in mecha design are welcome,” and stresses the importance of understanding the game’s concept and how the characters and mecha fit into the world. If that doesn’t scream Armored Core, what does?
