Xbox Series S will not be a problem for GTA VI, Take-Two is not worried!

Since the launch of the new consoles, especially Xbox Series X/S, we had a lot of doubts about the less powerful brother of the brand, Xbox Series S. The game performs well in some games, but in others it had some problems, like in Baldur’s Gate 3, which had some issues and took a while to be released for the green side.

With all this in mind, we had some questions about how Grand Theft Auto VI should work on Microsoft's weaker console, but Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar don't seem to be concerned about that.

During the last earnings conference call of Take-Two Interactive, where CEO Strauss Zelnick was asked if the Xbox Series S would potentially be a problem for the release of GTA 6. Addressing this, Zelnick simply said that the team would always "find a way to support the platforms, despite the different levels of technology," in an attempt to alleviate any concerns. "Our labels are really good at this," he said. "I'm not really worried."

"And I've said this many times over the years because, first of all, I don't worry about things I have no control over. And second because I believe in the audience. The audience will show up if you have great properties, so we just need to make sure we're on a variety of platforms," he elaborated.

These statements are interesting, especially because the game must have been in development for more than 10 years, which should show great results on consoles, since Rockstar must have gotten their hands on several dev kits even before they were released!
