Warner Bros. Games Reveals Gameplay Trailer of Agent Smith in MultiVersus
Today, Warner Bros. Games released a new trailer for MultiVersus, featuring for the first time the gameplay of the iconic Agent Smith, main antagonist of the "Matrix" movie series. The character will join the game's roster on July 8 as part of Season 1: Puns and Villainy.
Agent Smith, classified as a Brawler character, will bring a set of moves that reflect his role as a defender of the Matrix. The new video highlights his impressive speed, impeccable aim, and his insatiable thirst for control. In the gameplay scenes, Smith is seen using melee combat and short-range shooting abilities, teleporting to close the distance in the midst of battles, as well as calling for support from other Agents.
Players will be able to unlock Agent Smith as a free playable fighter starting on July 8, by participating in the event "Win Rifts, Get Agent Smith for Free!". This event will take place throughout the season in the PvE Rifts mode, where players can complete boss challenges to earn exclusive rewards.
Developed by Player First Games, MultiVersus will be available for free download on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), with full support for Cross-play and Cross-Progression.
