Verdansk is back in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone in Season 3

The iconic map returns with special events, new modes, and classic weapons

Get ready for a triumphant return! Verdansk, the map that kickstarted the Battle Royale era in Call of Duty, is back in the Season 3 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone. Activision has confirmed that the new season starts on April 2, at 1 PM (Brasília time), bringing new features for multiplayer and zombies. The return of Verdansk will happen the following day, April 3, also at 1 PM (BRT).

The map relaunch will come with a special mega event, new mechanics inspired by the original game, and a nostalgic reward package for franchise veterans.
 

Verdansk has been rebuilt from scratch, keeping the original essence

The map returns with an updated visual, but preserving classic elements that marked the players' experience.

• 150 players in Battle Royale
• Original Warzone announcer
• Iconic infiltration cinematics
• Shootouts during freefall before landing
• Additionally, several classic mechanics have been rescued:
• Original supply boxes
• Floating loot system
• Loadouts and Perks purchases
• Valuable loot areas scattered around the map
• And that's not all! Quality of life improvements have been implemented, such as:
• Squad redeployment via Buy Stations
• Detailed weapon accessory descriptions
• Detailed death recap on the HUD
• Icon indicating when your Loadout is available for purchase
   

Game modes, special event, and rewards of Season 3

• Players will have a variety of options to venture into the new season:
• Battle Royale (Classic Verdansk)
• Plunder Quads (team money collection mode)
• Bootcamp (training mode for newcomers)
• Casual Battle Royale (28 players and up to 120 bots, ideal for training)
   

Special event: "Return to Verdansk"

A special event will mark the map's relaunch. Players will need to open 12 chests scattered in different zones to unlock the iconic Kali Sticks, fans' favorite melee weapon.

Classic weapons return to Verdansk!

• Season 3 brings back classic armaments from the Verdansk era, including:
• Kilo 141 Assault Rifle (available for free to those who log in after the season launch)
• CR-56 AMAX Assault Rifle (unlocked through Season 3 Battle Pass)
• HDR Sniper Rifle (another Battle Pass reward)
