V Rising: Vampire Survival RPG will leave early access in May

The Stunlock Studios has announced that their vampire survival action RPG, V Rising, will be released for PC via Steam on May 8, followed by PlayStation 5 in 2024. The game, currently in Early Access, offers a unique vampire adventure experience.

V Rising puts players in the role of a vampire awakening after centuries of sleep, thirsty for blood and weakened. In a vast open world of dark fantasy, players must explore, gather resources, and face mythical horrors as they strive to conquer the world of the living.

One of the game's distinctive features is the need to avoid the deadly sunlight during the day and hunt their victims in the darkness of the night. Players can play solo, cooperatively, or in persistent online multiplayer, adapting to their gaming preferences.

Additionally, players can build and customize their own castle, gather a dark army, and compete or cooperate with other players. The variety of weapons and abilities available allows players to customize their vampires to suit their gameplay style, while facing heroes, monsters, and other vampires in the world of Vardoran.
