Ubisoft Brazil pays tribute to Tokusatsu with epic commercial for Assassin's Creed Shadows
The countdown to Assassin's Creed Shadows is coming to an end, and Ubisoft Brazil has decided to celebrate this moment in a special way for the Brazilian audience. Inspired by the classic Tokusatsu series from the 80s and 90s, the company has released a commercial that mixes nostalgia, action, and the essence of the new game in the franchise.
A tribute to Japanese style with a Brazilian touch
The commercial authentically recreates the aesthetic of Tokusatsu series, a genre that was hugely popular in Brazil with classics like Jaspion, Changeman, and Kamen Rider. To complete this tribute, the soundtrack was composed by Edu Falaschi, a renowned metal vocalist and former member of the band Angra, who composed and performed the theme song "Strike as One", created exclusively for the campaign.
Additionally, the production featured special appearances by well-known figures from the gaming world, such as Thais Matsufugi from Flow Games, and Zulu, who is not only a content creator but also an MMA fighter and presenter. The direction was in the hands of Flashbang Co., ensuring that the classic aesthetic was respected to the fullest.
International partnership and respect for Japanese culture
The commercial was developed with the support of Ubisoft Japan, reinforcing the commitment to maintaining cultural authenticity in promotional material. As part of this respect for Japanese tradition, the theme song will also have a version sung in Japanese, performed by Taro Kobayashi, known for his work on the opening of Kamen Rider Amazons.
The Japanese version will be released on March 19th, while both versions of the song will be available on major streaming platforms starting April 9th.
Assassin's Creed Shadows promises an epic experience in Feudal Japan
Set to be released on March 20, 2025, Assassin's Creed Shadows transports players to Feudal Japan, allowing them to explore the world through the perspectives of two protagonists: Naoe, a deadly shinobi, and Yasuke, a powerful samurai. The game promises dynamic combat, immersive exploration, and a rich narrative, solidifying itself as one of the most anticipated titles of the year.
The advertising campaign by Ubisoft Brazil not only strengthens the connection of Brazilian fans with the game but also demonstrates the company's affection for the national market. After all, the passion of Brazilians for Assassin's Creed and Tokusatsu now converge in a production worthy of a true epic.
