Twitch, one of the most popular streaming platforms in the world, can now offer creators a persistent virtual space for social interactions with their communities. The news comes from the German company RAVE.SPACE, which announced in August 2025 the launch of Streamworlds, a browser-based system that turns live streams into interactive and continuous 3D worlds.

Without the need for download or an app, viewers can directly enter a channel's universe through the browser, control avatars, chat by voice, dance, place stickers, play minigames, and even compete with the creator. All of this synchronized in real-time with the video, audio, and chat of the stream.

"We believe that the communities of the future will not just watch, but want to actively participate. They want to meet, chat, move, and be part of the show. That's exactly what Streamworlds allows - directly in the browser and accessible to everyone."
Frank Hahn, founder and CEO of RAVE.SPACE

Creators gain new forms of engagement and revenue

Streamworlds focuses on transforming Twitch channels into permanent social spaces, functioning even when the streamer is offline. Each world has its own link, which can be integrated into the channel. Creators can choose from different templates and designs, depending on the type of content - whether Just Chatting, gameplay, music, or other formats.

The platform offers tools that enhance the channel experience:

  • Interactive and customizable 3D worlds
  • Live synchronization with Twitch video, audio, and chat
  • Avatars with simple control, voice chat, and social features
  • Cooperative or competitive minigames with the creator
  • Collectibles, rewards, levels, and rankings system
  • Dedicated space for external links, social networks, or stores
  • Integration with merchandising modules
  • Administration dashboard with moderation, analytics, and real-time management

For brands, a new form of interactive sponsorship

In addition to creators, Streamworlds paves the way for agencies and brands to explore campaigns within virtual environments, moving away from the outdated banner model. It is possible to integrate coupons, digital items, activations, sampling, and events directly into the 3D worlds, in synergy with the content being streamed.

The proposal is to turn sponsorship into a real experience for the audience, where branding is not a visual noise, but an active part of the fun.

Frictionless functionality

The entire experience runs via browser, thanks to the RaveEngine, a proprietary WebGL technology from RAVE.SPACE. Compatible with desktop and mobile, the system does not require installation or mandatory login. Users can enter as anonymous or with a Twitch account.

Navigation is simple, avatars are easy to control, and the platform is already optimized for performance, accessibility, and language settings, working globally at any time.

Streamworlds is not just another layer in streaming - it is a paradigm shift. While most still see chats as the limit of interaction, RAVE.SPACE bets on spaces where communities meet, play, bond, and experience content in real-time.
