The Legend of Zelda’s Urbosa Cosplay Will Surely Take Your Breath Away
Check out this beautifully captivating cosplay of Urbosa from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
There’s no doubt about it, The Legend of Zelda franchise has been a huge hit for Nintendo. After making its debut in Japan back in 1986 on the Famicom Disk System, The Legend of Zelda continues to delight fans to this current day on the Nintendo Switch with the highly successful Breath of the Wild. According to The NPD Group’s Mat Piscatella, Breath of the Wild has been on the top ten list every single month since its March 2017 release, which is 42 consecutive months where it has never charted lower than 7th. While Link may be the main protagonist of The Legend of Zelda series, Gerudo chieftain Urbosa is truly a worthy container for the fan-favorite, especially so when the cosplay is as fabulous as brown.suga.outlaw‘s.
Urbosa, or otherwise known as Lady Urbosa, Gerudo Champion of Hyrule or Chief of the Gerudo from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, was the Gerudo Chieftain of her people, governing from Gerudo Town. She was close friends with the Queen of Hyrule, Zelda’s mother, before her death and took on a motherly role to her daughter. When King Rhoam and Princess Zelda called upon the Gerudo for aid in the coming battle against Calamity Ganon, Urbosa offered her sword immediately and agreed to become the Gerudo Champion, and pilot, of the Divine Beast Vah Naboris.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild really is the gift that just keeps giving, whether it’s through some unique gameplay techniques or the hundreds of fan art pieces seen time after time, it looks like Breath of the Wild has some punch still left in it.
