Mortal Kombat has always worked very well in its partnerships with guest characters, long before Fortnite did it, and as it is even more trendy nowadays, for sure Warner Bros. Games will bet on it more and more.

This time we have a trailer, bringing the arrival of Conan the Barbarian and even T-1000, from Terminator 2!

The trailer focuses on the eSports tournaments of Mortal Kombat, but it also shows the gameplay of Conan, the Barbarian, with the warrior cutting his unfortunate opponent in half during a Brutality.

We also have T-1000 appearing very quickly, showing his hand returning to human form from the liquid metal form in a scene that will remind you of Terminator 2. It seems very much like the T-1000 in Mortal Kombat 1 is based on Robert Patrick, who portrayed the character in the movie, and we understand that Patrick also voiced T-1000 in the game.

Conan, the Barbarian, with arrival scheduled for January 21 as part of the early access DLC period for owners of the expansion Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns before coming to all players a week later, looks quite like Arnold Schwarzenegger, who played Conan in the 1982 cult classic, but does not have his voice. The official gameplay trailer of Conan, the Barbarian, will be released on the Kombat Kast on January 16th, giving fans a deeper dive into this powerful fighter. The release timing and availability of T-1000 will be announced at a later date, Warner Bros. said.
