Tekken 8 boss signals to Tifa fans, after collab with FFXVI

There are all different types of gamers and surely some are quite strange, however, it is important that these combinations of tastes lead us to have cooperation with different games, just like the cooperation between Final Fantasy XVI from Square Enix and Tekken 8 from Bandai. The classic fighting game received the latest protagonist from the RPG saga, Clive, who arrived in great style with his trailer:

Earlier this month, Tifa fans reacted as well as you would expect when Tekken 8 revealed that the last DLC character coming in their Year One roadmap was none other than Clive from Final Fantasy 16 - a real "close call" situation. Tekken is traditionally a hand-to-hand combat series and Tifa is the most famous boxer from her series, so it seemed like a perfect match. Series producer Katsuhiro Harada even acknowledged the intense fan demand earlier this year, only to make a swap with Clive.

But now, when asked about the possibility of other Final Fantasy characters joining the game, Harada said jokingly to IGN that "it's not like we're limited to just one Final Fantasy character". He obviously doesn't say anything definitive other than the fact that "it would be cool if we had two, who knows", while also acknowledging that "it's not something we can decide on our own", as Square Enix would also need to approve.

Harada continued to say that when deciding on crossover fighters, the team takes into consideration what is a "good fit for our brand", the "fighting style" of which character fits with the rest of the cast, and the "character atmosphere that we think would blend well with Tekken", as well as "timing" the collaboration well so that both series benefit from the DLC.
