Nightdive Studios has released a new gameplay trailer for System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition, confirming that the game will also be launched on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The trailer was presented during the Indie Horror Showcase 2023, and until then, the game was only confirmed for PC. A release date has not yet been announced.

System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition is a remaster of the acclaimed 1999 action, horror, and RPG game, System Shock 2, with significant improvements. The game retains the iconic antagonist, the malevolent AI SHODAN, and has been rebuilt for modern platforms with enhanced visuals, improved gameplay, and excellent performance, including support for 4K at 120 frames per second.

Furthermore, this edition addresses bugs and enhances stability. Cooperative multiplayer modes have also been improved and support fan-made content, providing the best experience for both new players and veterans.

System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition will be released on an as-yet-unannounced date for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
