SERUM: Adventure and survival game receives test on Steam
The developer Game Island and the publisher Toplitz Productions are pleased to announce the upcoming gameplay test for their thrilling first-person survival adventure game, SERUM.
The test will be available via Steam starting on April 24th, beginning at 1pm CEST and will last for 7 days, providing players with a great opportunity to experience the game and provide feedback as they prepare for the early access release on Steam for PC.
Following the success at Steam Next Fest as one of the top 50 playable demos, the new gameplay test introduces players to more skills, weapons, and crafting to try out, as well as the opportunity to explore both the forest biome and swamp biome without time restrictions.
Players can sign up for the chance to gain access to the gameplay test through the game's official page on Steam.
The test will allow players to explore the dark and dangerous world of SERUM and unravel the secrets of the Plague, a global pandemic that has infected the modern world. With the constant pressure of time, adventurers will need to act quickly to survive. This is an environment where every second counts, finding that crucial dose of serum is the difference between life and premature death.
The infected inhabitants of the ruined world of SERUM will undoubtedly prove to be challenging adversaries. These mutant abominations are nature-altered predators, including wolves, rats, arthropods, and boars, radically transformed and made excessively aggressive by unsuccessful serum experiments.
The developer Game Island and the publisher Toplitz Productions are using the gameplay test as an opportunity for fans and players to immerse themselves in the dark and exciting world of SERUM to help shape the future direction of the game and enhance the overall gameplay experience before the early access release on PC.
