Scarlet from NIKKE will be the leader in the Stellar Blade update

The next update of Stellar Blade will expand the scope of the Complete Edition, planned for PS5 and PC, with an unusual addition: a battle against Scarlet, one of the most popular characters from Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, Shift Up's own mobile game.

The news was officially confirmed on the PlayStation website, which details:

"The warrior Scarlet has come directly from the acclaimed mobile shooter by Shift Up to challenge you in an unforgettable one-on-one combat - only by defeating this new boss will it be possible to obtain a new outfit, hairstyle, and music for EVE."

This will be the second new boss fight included in the complete edition. The first, already announced earlier, involves Mann, the bodyguard of Orcal, who took part in the main campaign of the game.

In addition to combat content, the update will bring structural changes to the game. A new store will be added, managed by Volt, the robotic dog of Liter, another character from NIKKE. The location will focus on selling cosmetics, themed clothing, and decorative items for players.

The official description highlights other activities integrated into the new content:

"Test your aim in sci-fi-themed shooting range mini-games and visit the new store run by Volt, the faithful robotic dog of Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, offering a variety of clothing and items. Or, if you prefer, take some time to relax with fishing, where you will be able to collect six special items based on NIKKE."

With these additions, the Complete Edition of Stellar Blade aims to attract both new players and veterans with new cosmetic incentives and interactions inspired by the universe of NIKKE. It is worth noting that the integration between the two titles was already speculated, considering that both are developed by Shift Up.

Stellar Blade, originally released in April 2024 as a PlayStation 5 exclusive, will be released for PC with improvements and additional content. Meanwhile, Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, available for iOS and Android devices, has surpassed 25 million downloads and remains one of the most profitable mobile titles in Shift Up's portfolio.

There is still no exact date for the arrival of the Complete Edition, but the content has been promised to be released still in 2025. Until then, the studio continues its strategy of unifying its IPs and creating bridges between its player bases.
