Saber Interactive does not learn from Helldivers 2, nerfs weapons and receives review bomb in Space Marine 2!

If you read my posts last month, you must have seen that Helldivers 2 suffered a review bomb for a while, when Arrowhead Game Studios had the idiotic idea of nerfing weapons in a game that most fans play in PvE, against Bots and creatures. And that doesn't make sense, since the game is not competitive...

Soon its players went to Steam and completely lowered the game's score, as a form of protest, which led Arrowhead Game Studios to start a series of updates to fix their own mess.

Now we have Saber Interactive, which has a kind of "competitor" to Helldivers 2, which would be Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, which was as well received as the Sony exclusive. Unfortunately, Saber didn't learn anything from the competition and is now also receiving a review bomb for nerfing some weapons in the game, which for me, is unforgivable and I think it's totally right for fans to criticize this, since the Steam review section is for that!

Much of the anger seems to be directed at the game becoming more difficult. There is the new Lethal difficulty (and the others were adjusted), but crucially, the popular fencing weapon class had its generous perfect parry window halved (melee weapons capable of blocking like the chainsword cannot perfect parry). Additionally, the Tactical Marine's Auspex Scan ability had its damage bonus neutralized by 30%, which will definitely make these already difficult bosses even harder.

It doesn't make sense to have a balance that makes the game harder, since the fun of games like Helldivers 2 and Space Marine 2 is that you can destroy everything and be the badass of the game, just...

Anyway, it's great to see the community coming together to make changes in the game, since it's the players who will endure the game as it is balanced, and if it becomes too difficult, many will end up getting frustrated and giving up on the game!
