Rumor of collaboration between Black Ops 6 and Halo gains more details!
A rumor that was taken into consideration after the purchase of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft, was the possibility of Master Chief coming to Call of Duty, which would be perfect, especially if alongside him we had the arrival of Slayer, but let's focus only on COD and Halo for now...
This rumor has already been circulating on social media and it seems that this time we have more news about it. Of course, this wouldn't be impossible since we have had collabs before, not so good, but the Fallout suits have already appeared in Modern Warfare 2 - 3.
In 2024, it was reported that the supposed collaboration was "discarded" for "completely unknown reasons". Social media user Alaix says they have screenshots of the collaboration, but has not released them.
Unfortunately, we have no exact idea if this could happen in a future Advanced Warfare game in the hands of Sledgehammer Games, but it is interesting to think that the idea of bringing Halo maps to Call of Duty crossed the developers' minds. Seeing what Vanguard did with COD: AW weapons, I'm glad it didn't happen.
I would support it if it came in some futuristic Call of Duty game, which is not impossible, considering some of the ideas from Sledgehammer Games, they just need to find the right place for it.
In other news about Halo, the team working on the franchise is now known as Halo Studios. Several new games are in the works and will be made using Unreal Engine 5!
