Rockstar Games surprised the gaming community by officially launching their own server on Discord, marking a significant change in their communication approach. Known for their discretion, the company now offers a dedicated space for fans to interact and discuss their iconic titles, such as Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption.

The announcement was made on Wednesday night, directed at various fan sites that shared the link to the new server. In less than 30 minutes, over 12,000 members had already joined the community, demonstrating the players' enthusiasm. The server has dedicated channels for discussions about all of Rockstar's titles, including a specific space for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI. Additionally, there are channels for GTA Online, where players can form groups, share missions, and much more. Red Dead Online fans also have their space to discuss roles and form teams.

To join the official Rockstar Games server on Discord, simply access the provided link here and select the roles that correspond to your interests, such as forming teams in GTA Online or Red Dead Online, as well as receiving updates on events, giveaways, and announcements.

This is not Rockstar's first foray into Discord. Last August, the company collaborated with the platform to offer an unlockable GTA V avatar decoration. Players needed to play GTA Online on PC for 15 minutes to claim the item. Additionally, in 2024, Rockstar started a channel on WhatsApp, sharing updates directly with fans.

With the growing anticipation for the release of GTA VI, scheduled for fall 2025, the creation of this Discord server may indicate a new communication strategy by Rockstar, bringing them even closer to their global community of players.
