Roblox offers a $1 million prize in The Hunt: Mega Edition event

Competition will feature more than 24 games and the final will be broadcast live

If you've ever wondered what you would do for US$ 1 million, now you can add a new challenge to your list: winning The Hunt: Mega Edition, the biggest competitive event of Roblox in 2025. Starting on March 13th, players from around the world will have to test their skills in more than 24 games within the platform, competing to secure a spot among the top ten finalists.

The best players will win a trip to the headquarters of Roblox Corporation in California, where they will compete in the grand final broadcast live. Only one of them will take home the million dollar prize.

How to participate in the event?

Unlike other eSports tournaments that require complex registrations, The Hunt: Mega Edition will be open to any Roblox player 13 years old or older. The event will take place between March 13th and 24th, enough time to find the top ten competitors.

In addition to the cash prize, participants can win ultra-rare digital items, exclusive to those who compete.

Which games are part of the competition?

We still don't know the complete list of games, but Roblox Corporation has already confirmed the following titles:

• Rivals - Nosiny Games
• SpongeBob Tower Defense - Wonder Works Studio
• Basketball Legends - InfinitySports
• IT GIRL - IT GIRL Magazine
   

If you haven't played Roblox yet, there's plenty of time to start and train before the competition.

Success of the previous edition

This is not the first event of this kind within Roblox. The 2024 edition, called The Hunt: First Edition, was a phenomenon:

• 34 million players participated
• 212 million missions were completed
• The event accumulated 128 million hours played
   

It's worth mentioning that last year, there was no cash prize like now. So, we can expect an even greater participation from players.

What to expect from the live final?

The exact date of the final has not been revealed yet, but we know it will be in April, directly from the headquarters of Roblox Corporation. The competition promises to be a major event, with streamers and influencers from the Roblox community, as well as new challenges prepared for the final.
