Riot announces the teams that are expected to participate in the League of the Americas!
For those who don't know, Riot plans to unify the championships of the American continent. This means that championships like CBLOL will cease to exist and we will have a new championship called LTA (League of the Americas), divided into two parts!
The unification not only brought the name of each of the teams, but also already has a logo that represents all the history that each of the most important championships on our continent has made, and will make in the near future. One tricky point is that some Brazilian teams were simply left out, with these changes happening only in the American continents.
LTA North and LTA South each have a total of eight teams, combining historical and iconic teams with rising stars. LTA North has 6 partner teams from LCS, one partner team from LLA, and one invited team, containing a rich blend of established champions and new talents. Similarly, LTA South is composed of 6 partner teams from CBLOL, one partner team from LLA, and one invited team, creating a dynamic conference that highlights both organizations with a vast legacy in Brazil and the growing presence of teams from Latin America.
Here are the Tier 1 teams:

Each conference will compete over three unique Stages in the year, with the audience watching the matches in person. The new formats were designed to foster regional rivalries, while encouraging competition between regions, ensuring competitive integrity, and bringing excitement to fans in the Americas.
