Remake of Silent Hill 2 will be exclusive to PlayStation 5, and may arrive on Xbox, only in 2025!
One of the details that came along with the immersion trailer of Silent Hill 2 Remake was not only the way the controller would help you interact with the experience, but also that the game will not be exclusive to PlayStation 5 and PC for long. This makes some people happy, as the game will be available for Xbox users next year, becoming exclusive to PlayStation 5 for at least 1 year!
And to make things clearer, at the end of the immersion trailer presentation, there is no Xbox logo, but there is a notice saying:
"Also available for PC. Not available on other formats until 10.8.2025."
This certainly means that, even though it is coming out now for PlayStation 5, Silent Hill 2 should also arrive on Xbox Series X/S, with its own release date already set for next year in August!
The trailer showed much more about the structures of Silent Hill 2 and what Konami will be bringing in this Remake, knowing that this game will not be exclusive for long should ease some of the Xbox fans who were a bit disappointed with the arrival of Indiana Jones for PlayStation 5.
Anyway, I'll leave the trailer again for you to see the message at the end!
Still, the classic game will be back in the coming days, with a release already scheduled for next month, on October 8th. Coming out only for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam!
