Ragnarok Latam hits 320 million hours played in beta and confirms premiere in May
With a confirmed release date of May 28, 2025, the Latin American version of Ragnarök Online concluded its open beta with impressive numbers, consolidating the MMORPG's return to the regional market. Developed by Gravity, the test featured over 117 thousand created characters and accumulated 320 million hours of gameplay over the period, according to an official statement released by the company.
During the testing period, 175 players reached the maximum level, demonstrating high engagement from the community, which revived the competitive spirit of the game's early years. "The numbers exceeded our expectations and reaffirm the potential of Ragnarök Latam in the region," stated Gravity.
To mark this new moment, a special concert in São Paulo was announced, to be held on June 14, at 7 p.m. (Brasília time). The event will celebrate the game's legacy and its new phase, offering fans an immersive musical experience with iconic franchise tracks.
Ragnarök Online originally debuted in 2002 and quickly became a reference among MMORPGs, especially in Brazil. This new version, targeted towards the Latin American audience, has been adjusted to offer greater stability, localized support, and regional events.
The Gravity promises continuous updates, servers optimized for Latin America, and an events calendar for the first few months after the official launch. Fans who have followed the franchise since its early days will now have the chance to relive memories in a revamped environment, but true to the original essence.
More information about the concert and server updates can be found directly on the official channels of Ragnarök Latam.
