Sony has announced a new special edition PlayStation 5 in celebration of the next big exclusive, Final Fantasy XVI.
The limited edition console features a black design adorned with motifs from the franchise, including Yoshitaka Amano artwork on the shell. Scheduled for release on June 22, when the RPG will be available in stores, the console will come with a download code for Final Fantasy XVI.
The model will be available in North America through PlayStation Direct, with pre-orders starting May 4.
In Japan, the model will be available in limited quantities at a price of 67,980 yen. In addition to the console, in Japan it will be possible to purchase PS5 accessories in commemorative editions of the game's launch.
Additionally, in June, a standard white PlayStation 5 bundle will also be sold with a game download code.
