Predator: Hunting Grounds arrives on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 with announced updates

The long-awaited news for fans of Predator: Hunting Grounds is arriving: the asymmetric 1v4 multiplayer game is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PS5. Developed by IllFonic, the game made its initial debut on PS4 and PC in April 2020, and is now expanding its territory to the next-gen consoles.

Furthermore, IllFonic has taken over as the new publisher of the game, bringing with it promises of new updates for the years 2024 and 2025. Check out the announced plans:

• April 2024: Patch 2.49, covering PS4 and PC, will focus on player movement, reworking and balancing Fireteam weapons, balancing Predator weapons, and improvements to UX/gameplay.
   
• End of 2024: Launch for Xbox Series X|S and PS5. This version will focus on the next generation, running on Unreal 4.27, Vivox, and Wwise, with Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition options offered.
   
• Winter 2024: New Predators.
   
• Spring 2025: New Predators.
   

For the uninitiated, Predator: Hunting Grounds offers an immersive asymmetric shooting experience, set in remote areas around the world. Players can venture into the Predator universe, where they have the opportunity to hunt as the fearsome Predator or survive as part of the Fireteam, completing paramilitary operations before being hunted by the Predator.

With so many planned updates and the game evolving since its launch, Predator: Hunting Grounds has become a unique experience that continues to attract players four years after its initial release.
