Pacific Drive surpasses the 1 million copies sold mark
Today (19th), Ironwood Studios officially announced that the incredible Pacific Drive has surpassed the 1 million copies sold mark. It is worth noting that the game is the studio's first work, with less than 20 employees.
Released in mid-February 2024, the title has been collecting important industry awards, such as several nominations from BAFTA, Game Developers Choice, BIG Festival Awards, in addition to the prestigious The Indie Game Awards 2024.
Not only that, but Atomic Monster, James Wan's production company (Aquaman, The Conjuring), acquired the rights to the game to create a TV series, but there is still no premiere date, and it is unknown which streaming service will be chosen.
It is worth mentioning that Pacific Drive has already received a series of additional content, such as DLCs and cosmetic packs, in addition to a major expansion already announced, with no set date yet.
Pacific Drive is a first-person survival racing game, and the car is your only companion. Explore a surreal version of the Pacific Northwest and face supernatural dangers as you venture into the Olympic Exclusion Zone.
Pacific Drive is available for PC and PS5.
