Once Human gets a release date for debut on consoles
The integration among the various communities was completely ensured by the companies involved. Players choosing consoles will have full support for cross-play and cross-progression systems. This means they can freely switch between computers, mobile devices, and consoles using the same account, a fantastic decision that should be standard in any modern online game as it prevents players from losing their progress or being isolated from friends. In the PS5 ecosystem, developers have added an extra touch by implementing dedicated support for adaptive triggers and DualSense controller haptic feedback, which should enhance immersion during shooting and material gathering in the environment.
Starter Pack, with cosmetic items, weapon skins, a 30-day Metapass, and customizations.
Radiance Pack, which includes exclusive outfits, a Premium Battle Pass, Metapass, additional skins, and an exclusive profile frame.
The official announcement of this market expansion was made by the developer Starry Studio in partnership with the distributor NetEase Games, confirming that the survival RPG lands on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on August 25th. This launch will coincide with a massive content update for all platforms, with the main highlight being the introduction of a first-person perspective. A new trailer was released to show how this new camera will work in practice, covering everything from shooting exchanges with monsters to exploring on foot and driving vehicles across the map. Giving players this freedom of choice is an excellent move, allowing for much greater immersion in that bizarre universe.
Although the title operates on a free-to-play model, the producer has already put forward two paid incentive package options for those wishing to start their console journey with some visual perks in their account.
The technical optimization promises to deliver and will offer two distinct configurations for console owners. Those who value visual fidelity can activate the Quality mode, focused on delivering 4K resolution running at up to 60 frames per second. On the other hand, extreme smoothness enthusiasts will have access to the Performance mode, which reduces pixel count on the screen to try and achieve a refresh rate of up to 120 frames per second. This console arrival occurs shortly after a successful round of closed beta testing and serves as the highlight of the game's second anniversary celebrations, which interestingly is already in its 13th season of updates in the market.
