The game arrives in early 2024 in the Microsoft ecosystem
Publisher Square Enix and developer Acquire have announced that Octopath Traveler II is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the Microsoft Store in early 2024. The announcement was made during Tokyo Game Show 2023.
Released in February 2023, the game is already available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
In addition to Octopath Traveler II, other games are on their way to Xbox, and some of them will come directly to Xbox Game Pass, as announced during the event.

The story of Octopath Traveler II takes place in Solistia, a world with two continents separated by the sea: an eastern one and a western one.
In this prosperous era, large ships navigate busy maritime routes, powered by the steam that generates new technologies. While some enjoy the bright stars of the stages and industry, others suffer from war, disease, and poverty. In this distant setting, eight travelers from different regions embark on personal adventures.
Take on their roles, explore the world as you wish, and use your special talents to assist in your unique journey. Embark on a singular adventure.
