New update for Below the Stone: the longer you stay underground, the more enemies.
The roguelike Below the Stone, from Apogee Entertainment, has received a new update: caves awaken.
It consists of the appearance of new enemies as the player stays underground. In other words, it will be necessary to manage the exploration time in the location more efficiently before the Shade enemies appear.
In addition, a new tool called Mega-map will help players plot a more efficient route to explore the cave.
Other updates include visual improvements, new breakable objects, NPCs, and more.
The challenges have also undergone changes in their difficulty: Monsters Closets and Boomstone traps have been added, which will be another obstacle for the miner.
Below the Stone is available for PC via Steam and GOG, with plans to arrive on PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series S/X by late 2025.
