New patch of Marvel Rivals makes the game even more interesting!

Being a game that does not focus on competitiveness and e-sports, Marvel Rivals has the possibility to ignore balance changes and let players simply fight each other, until they simply get tired, with chaotic abilities and characters as crazy as they are.

The game is showing to be going in the right direction when it focuses on the players' fun and not on silly balance changes, which naturally, makes some players discouraged from their favorite characters.

The patch notes include a series of bug fixes targeting a handful of specific hero bugs that players have been facing, but there are no balance changes to be seen here. Compare this with other shooter games like Overwatch 2 , which typically incorporate at least some balance changes in almost every update. Marvel Rivals could still use some adjustments (nerf Hela's health when she casts her ultimate, damn), but NetEase allowing players to have chaotic fun is a big reason for overshadowing hero shooter competition now.

The update will be released tomorrow, February 6th, at 1am Pacific / 4am Eastern, and will include a new skin for Captain America based on his appearance in Avengers: Infinity War , and another for Luna Snow called Mirae 2099. Some of the patch notes are as follows:

Maps and gameplay

1. Various cases where players could get stuck in specific terrain have been resolved.

2. Fixed an occasional synchronization issue with some doors at the Hydra Charteris Base: Frozen Airfield
