Gladiator combat
Treated as a game in PvP format, studio Battlestate Games has revealed five new maps that will be part of the final version of the spin-off of Escape From Tarkov: Arena.
With the premise of making players only worry about shooting each other, just like the booklet of a traditional FPS title, Escape From Tarkov Arena will not address situations experienced in the original game, such as extraction and constant search for loot. But despite this, several regions of Tarkov will be used as a map for combat.
In a video posted on the official twitter of the studio, we can get a small glimpse of the areas (Sawmill, Bowl, Bay-5, Air Pit and Equator), which look great to offer intense combat with their condensed designs, which is what Escape From Tarkov Arena is looking for.
Despite the game being a spin-off, it will be possible to play it with your character from the main game, allowing players to test how much they have evolved after hours and hours looting and searching for legendary items in the fields of mother Russia.
Escape From Tarkov Arena does not have a release date, but its alpha version is expected to be released in 2023.
