Game days are expected to resemble reality even more
Electronic Arts continues to release videos with more details about various aspects of EA Sports FC 24, and this time the focus is on the updates for match day, from the pre-match preparations and fan arrivals to the actual gameplay and commentary.
In the video released on Friday (4), new character models are showcased, as well as improvements to the player clothing system, which should make them more realistic by adding more movements and smoother transitions as the player moves.
Many of these updates, according to Electronic Arts, are made possible thanks to the use of the Frostbite engine.
The updates include more in-depth match information, providing more data about both teams, expanding the range of information provided by the commentators, and more.
There is also a complete change to the moments leading up to the start of the matches, showing fans arriving at the stadiums, views of the team locker rooms, new pre-match menus, and other novelties.
A new camera angle has also been added to the game, as well as new viewpoints during intervals, which will allow players to even follow certain moments from the referee's point of view, presenting situations where the referee calls a foul and issues a card to a player, for example.
The game will also feature moments with the commentators. New celebrations and player reactions have also been announced, going beyond just goal moments, but also including situations where the goalkeeper saves a ball or similar instances.
Recently, more details about the game's career mode were also presented, providing insight into both player and manager careers. The additions are aimed at making the game more lifelike, incorporating various elements commonly seen in the matches we watch.
EA Sports FC 24 will be released on September 29 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
