New additions arrive in the Xbox Game Pass catalog in July
The official announcement was made by Microsoft via its traditional communication channel, Xbox Wire, revealing the titles that will supply the subscription service for consoles, computers, and mobile devices. The platform emphasized that users will have access to more benefits and major updates in the coming weeks, notably highlighting the arrival of version 1.0 of the popular Palworld. Bringing a constant stream of new content is a smart move to try to keep community engagement high, especially after recent controversies involving changes in subscription categories and prices.
The distribution of new releases will occur gradually over the next few weeks, divided among the different available subscription plans. One highlight is the expanded access to Gears of War: Reloaded, which lands in the Premium category after previously being in the Ultimate and PC packages, offering a great opportunity for those who want to revisit the acclaimed shooter franchise. Including a variety of titles helps to enrich the catalog and provides players with the chance to explore new experiences without immediate additional costs.
The full update schedule for the service for the month of July includes the following titles:
Winds of Arcana: Ruination (cloud, console, mobile, and PC) – Ultimate, Premium and PC
Gears of War: Reloaded (cloud, XBOX Series X|S, mobile, and PC) – July 9 – now in Premium (already available in Ultimate and PC plans)

Ascend to Zero (cloud, XBOX Series X|S, mobile, and PC) – July 13 – Ultimate and PC
PBA Pro Bowling 2026 (cloud, XBOX Series X|S, and PC) – July 14 – Ultimate, Premium, and PC
Quarantine Zone: The Last Check (cloud, XBOX Series X|S, and PC) – July 15 – now in Premium (already available in Ultimate and PC plans)
Mavrix by Matt Jones (cloud, XBOX Series X|S, mobile, and PC) – July 16 – Ultimate, Premium, and PC
FixForce (cloud, XBOX Series X|S, and PC) – July 17 – Ultimate, Premium, and PC
Fogpiercer (PC) – July 17 – Ultimate and PC
The Planet Crafter (cloud, XBOX Series X|S, and PC) – July 21 – Ultimate, Premium, and PC
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 (cloud, console, and PC) – July 21 – Ultimate, Premium, and PC
Even though the list presents a considerable number of indie names and smaller games, the delayed inclusion of some titles in specific plans shows how the contractual barriers between categories can be confusing for the average consumer. The presence of a classic like Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 ensures the value of the investment for those who enjoy nostalgic, polished arcade gameplay. It's this type of significant addition that the ecosystem needs more frequently to justify its status as one of today's leading consumption references.
