NetEase and Greg Street create Fantastic Pixel Castle studio for a fantasy MMO

NetEase has teamed up with industry veteran Greg Street to bring Fantastic Pixel Castle to life, a new game development studio. The studio has announced its ambitious project to create a Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) fantasy game under the codename "Ghost", based on a new intellectual property.

Fantastic Pixel Castle stands out as it operates as a fully remote studio, providing it with the flexibility to hire the best talents in the gaming industry. The studio's vision is to maintain a smaller size, enabling rapid iterations in game design.

Greg Street, the studio's head, shared his innovative approach:

With experience as a lead systems designer at Blizzard Entertainment, Street notably contributed to the success of World of Warcraft. He also served as an executive producer on Riot Games' League of Legends MMO, highlighting his track record of notable projects in the industry.
