Mundo Gamer Showcase Returns on September 25 for Its Third Edition of 2026
The Mundo Gamer Showcase is returning on September 25, 2026, for its third edition of the year and fourth edition overall.
After hosting showcases on March 20 and June 20, Mundo Gamer is preparing the next stage of its 2026 season before the project returns once again for a special year-end edition in December.
The September showcase will continue the event’s mission of helping independent games reach new audiences while connecting developers with journalists, media outlets, streamers, YouTubers, influencers, Steam Curators and gaming communities from around the world.
More Than a One-Day Livestream
The Mundo Gamer Showcase is not designed only as a presentation that begins and ends on the day of the broadcast.
Each edition is supported by a broader promotional campaign developed around the participating games. The work begins before the showcase through announcements, press outreach, media partner recruitment and creator connections, and continues after the event with articles, interviews, gameplay opportunities, key distribution and additional coverage.
This structure allows participating games to generate opportunities beyond their trailer slot during the livestream.
Depending on the project and the availability of media partners, studios may be connected with journalists, YouTubers, Twitch and Kick streamers, influencers, podcasters, Steam Curators and gaming communities interested in discovering and covering new games.
The objective is to build relationships that may result in articles, videos, livestreams, reviews, interviews, giveaways and long-term collaborations.
Three Editions in 2026 Before the Year-End Special
The September 25 event represents the third Mundo Gamer Showcase edition of 2026.
The year began with the first edition on March 20, followed by the second showcase on June 20. After the September event, the project will return with a special year-end edition in December.
This recurring format gives studios multiple opportunities throughout the year to present games at different stages of development, from early announcements and demos to launches and post-release campaigns.
It also allows media outlets and creators to continuously discover projects from different regions, genres and production backgrounds.
Building an International Network
One of the main differentiators of the Mundo Gamer Showcase is its focus on international connections.
Until the September event, the Mundo Gamer team will continue recruiting and engaging media outlets and content creators from different countries.
The network includes gaming websites, journalists, YouTubers, streamers, influencers, podcasters, Steam Curators and gaming communities covering independent games in multiple languages and regions.
By gathering these profiles within the same campaign, Mundo Gamer aims to help participating studios reach creators and media professionals who are genuinely relevant to their games.
The intention is not simply to increase the number of names associated with the event, but to create better connections based on factors such as genre, platform, audience, country, language and content format.
