Minecraft is one of the most successful games ever, and its milestones continue to prove it. Mojang Studios announced that the title has now surpassed 300 million copies sold.
The information was revealed during the Minecraft Live 2023 event. To give you an idea, Minecraft is the best-selling game of all time.
The significant milestone is announced close to Minecraft's 15th anniversary, which takes place in May 2024.
Minecraft is available for Nintendo consoles, PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and various mobile devices.

The last update on the game's sales numbers was in April 2021, when it was revealed that over 238 million copies had already been sold."As we approach the 15th anniversary, Minecraft continues to be one of the best-selling games of all time, with over 300 million copies sold, a milestone no one could have dreamed of when we were all placing our first blocks," said Helen Chiang, head of Mojang Studios.
"Our amazing community has turned Minecraft into what it is today and what it will become in the future. We can't wait to share new Minecraft content and experiences in the coming years."
