Minecraft: New Update Brings Shelves and Copper Golems

The latest update of Minecraft, available in Bedrock Beta and Preview, introduces the long-awaited shelf block, allowing players to display their favorite items. Additionally, the update brings the option to transform the friendly copper golems into statues and adds a challenging touch by allowing hostile monsters to use copper weapons and armor.

For item collectors in Minecraft, the new shelf block is the solution for organization. Each block can display up to three items, and swapping them is easy with the inventory. It is possible to connect the shelves with redstone for quick exchanges of multiple items from the hotbar. To create, use six blocks of any Stripped Log, Stripped Stem, or Stripped Bamboo.

The update also allows transforming the copper golems into statues, which can be reanimated or have their patina removed. When oxidized, the golems take on random poses, and their redstone signals vary by pose, opening up new creative possibilities. Hostile monsters can now appear with copper weapons and armor, and use them, making combat more intense. A new world editing page and other improvements have been added.

These new features come after the release of the Smurfs DLC, which allows you to explore the Smurfs village and interact with characters like Papa Smurf and Smurfette. To enhance your display with the new shelves, consider exploring house building guides and shaders for Minecraft.
