Metroid Prime 4: Beyond gets a 7-minute video and details Samus' journey
Nintendo released a new and long video, with over 7 minutes, detailing the gameplay and storyline of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. The highly anticipated title will be released on December 4th for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.
The revealed video shows how the protagonist Samus Aran responds to a distress call sent by the Galactic Federation, leading her to be involved in an "unexpected disaster". Samus's journey leaves her stranded on the planet Viewros, where she must fight to survive and find ways to get back home.
The adventure is presented in first person, with moments in third person, and invites players to explore a variety of environments. The planet Viewros ranges from "lush forests" to "frozen laboratories", not forgetting a "factory in a volcano".
Samus will have to deal with "violent beasts" while exploring the remains of ancient civilizations. To unravel the mysteries of the planet and escape, the bounty hunter will use various tools and gadgets, including the Scan Visor.
