The highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater may have had its release date revealed ahead of time. According to an update on the PlayStation Store, the remake of the classic stealth action game is reportedly set to arrive on August 28, 2024. The information quickly spread on the ResetEra forums, which confirmed the date listed on the PSN.

Konami has not yet commented on the leak or officially confirmed the date. However, rumors suggest that a State of Play may happen later this month, indicating that an official announcement is imminent. Initially, the company had only stated that the remake would be released in 2024, without revealing more specific details.

In addition to the possible release date, a new trailer has also been released, featuring familiar scenes from the original game. At the end of the video, there is a reference to the iconic mini-game Snake vs Monkey, leading to speculation that this mechanic may return in the new version.
