Marvel's Wolverine continues in development, but Insomniac keeps it a secret

Marvel's Wolverine, announced at the PlayStation Showcase 2021, is still alive, but details about the highly anticipated project by Insomniac Games remain scarce. Since its revelation, the studio has taken a cautious approach and has not yet released new official information, despite several leaks over time.

Yesterday, amidst the news of the retirement of Ted Price, founder and CEO of Insomniac Games, the studio briefly commented on the game. Chad Dezern, co-head of the studio, stated:

"We announced Marvel's Wolverine, and we would love to talk more about it, but we have to be like Logan today and remain very stoic until the time comes to show our claws in the future."

This statement reinforces the tone adopted in May 2024, when the studio emphasized that they will only present news about Wolverine when they consider the timing appropriate.

Despite the official silence, the title has already been the target of:

  • Leaks of details about the cast and playable characters.
  • Unofficial gameplay released.
  • Information about an initial and functional build that circulated in specialized forums.

Even with the absence of new announcements, Insomniac Games, known for successes like Marvel's Spider-Man and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, maintains high expectations for the project.

Do you think Insomniac's mysterious approach is generating more excitement for Marvel's Wolverine? Or is it time to see the claws in action? Share your opinion!
