The limited edition PS5 console of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is already being shipped to content creators and pre-purchasers, and some information on the packaging suggests that the game will take up a substantial portion of the SSD space.
The box states that a minimum of 98 GB of free space will be required to download and play Marvel's Spider-Man 2. After installation, it's possible that the PS5 exclusive game might not take up as much space, but it is still expected to be a considerable download when it releases on October 20, 2023.
The information was captured by user @SpiderManCD on Twitter, who shared an image of the PS5 console and its packaging. The potential download size is notably larger compared to Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered (53.84GB) and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales (39.21GB).
The limited edition PS5 will be available starting on Friday, September 1, 2023, and can still be acquired on Sony's PlayStation Direct store, however, the custom DualSense controllers and Console Covers are already sold out.
