Marvel Rivals: The New 6v6 Hero Shooter Game from Marvel and NetEase Games

Marvel Rivals has been officially revealed by Marvel and NetEase Games. This free-to-play third-person hero shooter, in the style of Overwatch, promises to compete for its space on PC.

With a stellar cast of Marvel superheroes, Marvel Rivals features characters from the Avengers, X-Men, and Guardians of the Galaxy. With 18 characters at launch, including Hulk, Iron Man, Storm, and Rocket Raccoon, the game plans to add more heroes and maps through seasonal updates.

A unique feature is the Team-Up Skills mechanic, which allows for special combinations between characters for unique tactics, such as Rocket Raccoon riding on the back of Groot. Additionally, the game will offer a story element involving a collision of the multiverse, where different versions of the heroes face off.

Marvel Rivals is gearing up for a closed beta test in May, giving players the chance to experience this new hero shooter game.
