The partnership between Marvel Games and PlayStation will continue strong, with Insomniac Games seen as a "dear friend" and key collaborator for future projects. The General Manager of Marvel Games, Haluk Mentes, indicated the continuation of the collaboration for more Marvel games in the future, which is a positive point after the success of the Marvel’s Spider-Man trilogy and the development of Marvel’s Wolverine.

Mentes told Game Informer that Insomniac is the epitome of the collaboration philosophy of Marvel Games:

“We look for collaborative partners who want to wear the same mantle. As is customary, once we complete a joint project, they also become Marvel. Marvel’s Wolverine with our dear friends at Insomniac Games is probably the epitome of this philosophy.”

Trust in Insomniac has solidified over more than a decade of collaborative work, including the various Marvel’s Spider-Man games. Mentes explained that Insomniac was the obvious choice for Wolverine due to the relationship and alignment of values:

“We have been working together for over a decade and have developed a relationship over several Marvel’s Spider-Man games that when it finally came time to bring back Logan in a visceral and spectacular way, it became obvious to everyone on our team that Insomniac was the perfect choice.”

The manager stated that Insomniac shares the same culture and values as Marvel Games, and feels tremendous pride in "continuing to collaborate for many more years".

In addition to Insomniac's single-player games (Spider-Man and Wolverine), Marvel Games demonstrates its closeness to PlayStation in other projects, such as Marvel Tokon, a fighting game that is in development at Arc System Works.

Marvel Games and PlayStation plan more games after Insomniac Games' Marvel’s Wolverine. The General Manager Haluk Mentes sees Insomniac as a "dear friend" and the "epitome" of the collaboration philosophy, highlighting the partnership of more than a decade. Marvel Games also collaborates with PlayStation on Marvel Tokon, in development at Arc System Works.
