Konami schedules broadcast of the PRESS START event for September
Delivering direct updates from developers on established franchises is an excellent strategy to keep the community informed, yet limiting the scope of the event right at the announcement might disappoint those who were hoping for more impactful surprises in the catalog. Konami has officially confirmed the date for the next edition of its live broadcast KONAMI PRESS START, scheduled for September 3 at 12:00 PM Brasília time.
The presentation has been structured to provide a detailed overview of the upcoming projects from the Japanese developer, covering new information, production updates, and news about the release lineup.
The focus of the broadcast will be concentrated on popular titles from the publisher's portfolio.
During the showing, the main highlight will be Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, a title set to debut on October 15. The program will also bring updates on SILENT HILL: Townfall, a project set for release on September 24.
The teams responsible for producing both titles have prepared never-before-seen gameplay segments and video messages recorded directly by the studios involved in development.

Despite the promise of exclusive materials and recordings during the broadcast, Konami issued a prior notice to set public expectations, confirming there will be no announcements related to a remake of the Silent Hill franchise in this edition.
Fans and those interested can watch the live broadcast on the company's official YouTube channel.
Showing the real progress in the development of Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse and SILENT HILL: Townfall with gameplay clips is the best way to reassure players about the set dates. On the other hand, the constant need for Konami to issue notices to manage expectations about new installments of the Silent Hill series exposes an uncomfortable reliance on the past and a slowness in meeting what its own fan base most requests.
