Knockout City, the futuristic dodgeball game coming from Velan Studios and Electronic Arts in May, will hold its first console beta from April 2-4, allowing players on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X to duke it out amongst themselves and players from Windows PC via Origin and Steam.

It will be the first test of Knockout City’s all-platforms promise. A PC-only beta was held this past weekend. Players may sign up for April’s play session at the game’s official site

April’s beta will introduce a new map (Back Alley Brawl) plus a new weapon type, the Sniper Ball, as well as the 1-on-1 Face-Off playlist. For those not familiar with how Knockout City works, Velan provided a trailer full of pro tips on all of the ways to fake, block, punk, and knock out your opponents when the beta goes live.

Knockout City will launch on May 21, 2021 on all the platforms in this beta. Everyone will get a free trial of the full title and can continue playing for $19.99, keeping their progression from the trial phase.
