Kirby Air Riders is announced exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2

During today's Nintendo Direct event, to promote the news of the Nintendo Switch 2, among the many games announced, Nintendo revealed the promising Kirby Air Riders, the sequel to the classic Kirby Air Ride, originally released for Game Cube in 2003.

Although the announcement trailer reveals absolutely nothing about the gameplay proposal, or at least the story of the game, it is worth noting that the legendary Masahiro Sakurai, responsible for the Smash Bros franchise, is the developer responsible for Kirby Air Riders, as he had not revealed any project for a long time.

If there is something we can observe in the short teaser shown, it is that we will possibly be witnessing the incredible multiverse of Kirby, as he, while surfing on a shooting star, lands in a forest, accompanied by a blue Kirby and a yellow Kirby.

Kirby Air Riders does not yet have a concrete release date, but it is confirmed to arrive in 2025. Perhaps it will be your early Christmas present?
