Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has sold over 1 million copies!
Something that everyone likes is when a game breaks the bubble and reaches more people, and that seems to be happening with Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, a medieval game from Warhorse Studios that is showing a lot of potential and is very interesting for fans of the era.
To dispel any doubts, the medieval RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is a success, selling over a million copies on its first day of release.
"More than a million of you have stepped into our world," posted developer Warhorse Studios on X. "We are very grateful for your support — thank you for making KCD2 a triumph!"
Reflecting its sales success, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is also seeing some enviable player numbers on Steam.
Right now, over 166,000 people are playing only on Steam, enough to place it in the top five on the Steam charts and the top 100 most played games on Steam of all time. It's a big leap from the first game, which peaked around 96,000.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 also has a "very positive" rating on Steam — 92% of the over 6,100 user reviews posted so far are positive — and on Metacritic, it is well positioned with an aggregate rating of 88, giving it the first place among games released in 2025.
This was just one of the big releases this month, and we will have more and more news as the year goes by. This makes everything exciting and the Warhorse team definitely deserves all the success the game has.
