Jason Statham explodes Christmas with World of Tanks!

This time of year is when things start to cool down because of Christmas, in the world of games, it's the opposite, as many young people, adults, and children go on vacation and games tend to have a big peak of players, with games putting the game in a full Christmas mood. World of Tanks this time put “a little more” effort into the announcement of the Holiday Ops 2025 event, with Jason Statham.

The announcement comes with a 6-minute video of Jason Statham invading the set of a Christmas action movie and contradicting the director at every moment, and it's very possible that it wasn't just Christmas that Statham blew up, but also the movie's budget, something that can be seen on the director's face...

Announced today, by the game's official channel, the World of Tanks Holiday Ops 2025 event starts on December 6 and goes until January 13, and will feature an "updated festive hangar, where players will receive special tasks and battle missions to earn rewards from Jason Statham himself".

Statham hasn't appeared in many video games: he had voice roles in Red Faction 2 and the original Call of Duty early in his career, but otherwise, he has mainly remained in cinema. The actor told PC Gamer via email that he has been "fully focused on diving into bigger action roles, faster cars, intense fights" for the past 20 years, and sees his work with Wargaming.net on the Holiday Ops 2025 trailer as a continuation of that work.

"Cooperating with Wargaming is, in a way, an extension of my film career, as I worked with them from the beginning on the script, ensuring that the trailer was perfect," wrote Statham. "I sat down with the director to get all the details right, adjusting the scenes to bring the courage and impact we wanted. Additionally, a big reason I got involved was to join the legendary team with my friend Vinnie Jones and the iconic Arnold Schwarzenegger."

The trailer is certainly wonderful, as it has everything that a movie with Jason Statham and Schwarzenegger would have. A Tank is a bit of a novelty for me, but I am not the biggest connoisseur of stars. However, it's wonderful to see that it's not just Fortnite that brings incredibly interesting campaigns!
