If you are a cheater in Deadlock, your punishment will be turning into a frog!

Yes, that's right, the Valve Corporation has been working on their new hero shooter with moba elements, called Deadlock. The game was kept under lock and key while being played by people from all over the world and was only revealed in the last few months, proving to be a major competitor in a genre that Overwatch was dominating, Concord tried and then failed, leaving only Marvel Rivals as a real competitor, which makes things even more exciting, as Deadlock and Marvel Rivals are quite different in terms of structure, even though the shooting gameplay is still similar.

Putting game competition aside, we had the great news that Deadlock will have a much better anti-cheat system than Counter Strike 2, and this anti-cheat will give you the possibility to kick the Hacker out of the game or turn them into a toad until the end of the match, which is a great option for someone who lacks the minimum skills to play a competitive game. I wish Call of Duty would do something similar and turn cheaters into crying children, which would be fun.

Since Deadlock is still in beta, the system does not have a very powerful detection yet, only at "conservative" levels. The team is working to improve the anti-cheat in a future second version.

Burton Johnsey, a former developer of Counter Strike: Global Offensive, spoke about the anti-cheat and said that VAC, the anti-cheat of CS:GO, also had a similar idea, but with a chicken!

"When I worked on VAC, Rich and I designed this for CS, but the cheater was a chicken."

I am glad that the game is getting the attention it deserves in terms of polishing and developing tools against hackers, as this has been a major issue in the last competitive game released by Valve, in the case of Counter Strike 2. I am here to bring more news about the gaming world and everything that goes on within it!
