Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment is announced exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2

During the announcement event containing details of the Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo in partnership with Koei Tecmo Games Co., Ltd. revealed the production of the incredible and promising  Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment, the newest game in the Hyrule Warriors series, which will be exclusive to the new console.

For those unfamiliar with the derivative series of The Legend of Zelda, here the gameplay is focused entirely on action, with almost no RPG elements, just like the franchise is globally known, which can be the gateway for new players into the world of Link and company.

Despite few details shown during the reveal trailer, we can see Princess Zelda in action, alongside new allies and unknown characters. Not only that, but it is clear that at various times, the player will have to deal with hordes of enemies, as well as being able to assemble their team of allies.

It is striking how the announced games are focused on showcasing the hardware power of the console, with beautiful graphics and a lot of action happening.

Still without a release date, Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment is confirmed for 2025.
