Hotline Miami 2 accidentally enters Australian PlayStation Store shelves!

Since 2015, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number has had issues being released, not worldwide, but in Australia specifically, it faced some problems with the government there, which naturally happens, mainly due to the fact that the game has high levels of implicit violence, with 2D graphics...

Anyway, the game cannot be marketed within the country, which forced Sony to not make the game available in the country. However, an error occurred a few months ago, with the game being made available to residents of the country, who were able to buy the game and enjoy it peacefully.

But when Sony found out, they had to rush to remove the game from the PlayStation Store. Today, some of the customers who purchased the game woke up to an email notifying that the game was removed from the stores and the amount paid refunded.

Something funny that has been happening with PlayStation in recent days are errors. Since not long ago the PlayStation 5 had a bug that added ads to the games you have, on your home screen. The worst part is that you didn't have the option to disable it without having to disconnect the console from the internet, something interesting, when they say it was just "a bug."

Anyway, now Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number has been removed from Australian stores and is unlikely to return, as it has been almost 10 years since the game was rejected by the country's regulatory bodies.

Hotline Miami was a fan-favorite indie title in the early 2010s, with the first game arriving in 2012 and the sequel coming a few years later, in 2015. It featured fast and furious top-down gameplay, as players defeated villains in numerous morbid ways.
